Naples, regional capital of Campania, was founded by the Greeks in the 7th century B.C. with the name NEAPOLIS. Its wonderful gulf is surrounded the Sorrentine Peninsula and island of Capri on the south and by mounth Vesuvius on the east.

Among the main attractions of the place there are: The art gallery of Capodimonte, wich houses major works by Simone Martini,Raphael,Titian and Caravaggio, the Archaeological Museum that is considered one of the most important for Roman history in the world, the Duomo of San Gennaro and San Severo Chapel.

Second stop of the tour is The Royal Palace of Caserta. This majestic building was commissioned to Luigi Vanvitelli by King Charles III of Bourbon in 1750.
For the main building Luigi Vanvitelli designed a rectangular body of the building, 247 meters long and 184 on the major sides of the smaller ones, with four courtyards imagined as a parade grounds (the huge open spaces used for military meetings).

And if outside the residence has a contained elegance, within it glitzy shows: the central hall, the immense grand staircase, the twelve hundred rooms, spread over three floors, multiply the perspective views in an extraordinary game references. Around the Royal Palace extends over a 120-hectare park: here, among groves, fountains and water features, emerge everywhere statues of heroes and gods of classical mythology, which often allude to the passion for hunting of kings.

After the visit of the Royal Palace your driver will take you back to the ship.
